Who runs this

VerbaIDE is operated by Fediai Yurii Mykhailovych, a registered Ukrainian individual entrepreneur (FOP), trading as WD Studio. By using this website or the app, you agree to these terms.

Availability and pricing

The VerbaIDE app is available to download from this website. Dictation is free and needs no card. The paid features — translation, subtitles and translation under the cursor — are open for a 30-day free trial that starts automatically when you sign up in the app, no card needed. Features can change over time. Prices can change for new purchases; an existing subscription keeps its price until you cancel it.

Paid plans (Paddle)

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com ("Paddle"). Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles the purchase itself: payment, applicable taxes, receipts and billing documents, subscription renewals, cancellations and refunds — any order-level question should go to Paddle first. VerbaIDE / WD Studio is responsible for the product: the app's functionality and technical support. We never see or process your card or bank details.

By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, which govern the purchase and payment relationship. These VerbaIDE Terms govern your use of the website and the app instead. You buy a plan from inside the app. Monthly and annual Pro are charged at purchase and renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel; lifetime is a single payment. The free trial is separate: it starts after you sign up in the app and never charges you. See our Refund Policy for exactly how the trial, auto-renewal, cancellation and money-back guarantee work.

Intellectual property

The VerbaIDE name, logo, and this website belong to WD Studio. Using the site or the app doesn't give you any rights to them beyond what's needed to use the product itself.

Speech recognition model

VerbaIDE's speech recognition is based on Parakeet TDT 0.6B v3, a model created by NVIDIA Corporation and released under CC BY 4.0. On the free plan the app uses NVIDIA's model without our fine-tuning. During the trial and on paid plans it downloads our own build of it from cdn.verbaide.com: we fine-tuned it on our own recordings and converted it for the app. The weights of our build belong to WD Studio.

You may run our build of this model only inside VerbaIDE. Without our written permission you may not copy it out of the app, share or republish it, convert it to another format, train other models from it, or use it in any other app or service. The full licence is published next to the model files; by using the app you accept it. None of this limits what you can do with NVIDIA's original model, which stays available from NVIDIA under its own licence.

No warranty

This website and the app are provided "as is," with no guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent allowed by law, WD Studio isn't liable for damages arising from your use of the site or the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product develops. See the date at the bottom of this page for when these terms last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, where the operating FOP is registered.
