One machine, not five features

Everything above runs inside your Mac — nothing is sent out to be processed. Recognition uses two engines, Apple's and our own, and translation picks between a local translator and Apple's depending on the pair; either way the work happens here. Three things follow, and they are the three you actually care about.

  • No word limits, on any plan. There is no server to bill for them.
  • Works with no network, once the models are downloaded. Including on a plane.
  • Your speech never leaves the machine. There is nowhere to send it to.

Which languages?

Translation covers 21 languages, among them Russian, Ukrainian, English, German, Spanish, French, Polish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Speak yours — the output is your language or natural English, depending on the mode.

Where does it type?

Any macOS text field: Slack, Gmail, Jira, Notion, your editor, a terminal. There is no app to switch to.

Does my voice leave the Mac?

No. Recognition, translation and tone all run on-device; no audio is stored and no account is needed to dictate.

What about an accent or mixed speech?

Mixed Russian-English speech is normal input — technical words stay as they are.

How fast is it?

Text appears about a second after you release the key for a short message; a longer one takes a little more. In secretary mode the text lands in batches.

What does closed beta mean, and what happens to the price?

A build sent by hand and a call to set up your hotkeys. Lifetime buyers keep lifetime after launch; monthly stays $9 for everyone who joins during the beta.

How does billing and cancellation work?

Monthly starts with a 14-day free trial — nothing is charged until it ends, and cancelling during the trial costs nothing. After the trial (or right away for annual), the plan renews automatically at the price shown until you cancel; cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the current paid period ends. Lifetime is one payment, once, with no renewal. Every paid purchase is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Paddle, our reseller and the merchant of record, handles the actual charge, receipts and cancellation.
